Paris, France 2012

After a relaxing few days traveling along the Rhine, it was back to Paris, France! The wonderful thing about visiting a city for the second time is the chance to stray away from the touristy must-sees, slow things down and if need be, revisit a few spots. With no specific itinerary on hand, I was free to wander!

Pont des Arts. What makes Paris la ville d'amour.

All things academic at L'Institut de France

Made it a point to revisit Montmartre

The hill where all the hipsters from back in the day would gather because it was the one area that wasn't getting taxed.

So much effort and small little details were considered for La Basilique du Sacre Coeur

This time around I stayed in Montmartre.. home to the infamous Moulin Rouge. With lovely coffee shops with the accordion playing in the background really marked my "Parisian" experience.

Left Paris first thing in the morning for a rendez vous at Caen
